Bimal Kumar Subedi is a literary writer and Ph. D. research scholar. The area of his study covers: Literature, Language philosophy, Buddhism and Oriental Studies, Greek Tragedy, Civil Aviation, Nepalese history and politics. Subedi is Manager at Civil Aviation Academy, CAAN, Kathmandu. He has published fifteen books in different subjects. His major publications include-novels: Dui Hajar Varsa, Khaderi, Devayani, Rosa, Meri Chhori, and Siddhartha (translation); books on Oriental Studies: Sabda Brahma and Fundamentals of Buddhist Intellect; books on songs and poem: Desh Bhakti ka Gitaharu (patriotic songs), and The Cursed Heaven (a bilingual long poem in English and Nepali); books on Civil Aviation Studies: New Aviation English and Nagarika Uddyan ko Katha (the evolution of civil aviation); a book on Greek Tragedy, Viswaprasidda Greek Dukhantak Kathaharu and a book on Nepalese history and politics: Mero Desh Mero Nepal. He is the Chief Editor of two Civil Aviation Journals: Airman and Horizon. Besides, he has published many essays, stories and academic writings in different magazines and journals.
